TU FUI EGO ERIS
9/29/15 - 9/30/159/30/2015 In today's class, we continued working with the chord sheet I handed out last class.
Once you are comfortable with the E minor (Em) chord, try the Am, C, and G chords. When trying a new chord, strum the chord first; then, while holding the chord shape, pluck each string individually to make sure you are getting a clear tone from each string. Some troubleshooting tips: 1. Arch your fingers so that they are coming straight down onto the strings and frets (to avoid muting strings with the backs of your fingers) 2. Keep your fingers near the front of the fret you are pressing on (to avoid buzzing sounds). 3. Make sure the neck of your guitar is not resting too heavily on your palm (to avoid muting the high E string).
